The Second Peak of Rinjani or Mount Sangkareang is located at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level. Your efforts will be rewarded with a stunning sunset panorama over the volcano with Bali and the Gili islands as a beautiful backdrop on the horizon. Rinjani Trekking 2D1N is intended for those who have a short time, climbing to the Mount Rinjani Crater Rim or Sangkareang Peak with a gentle track route and suitable for beginners. It starts and ends at Tetebatu, providing spectacular views of Lake Segara Anak inside the volcanic crater and also known as the second peak of Mount Rinjani. The path is mixed with tropical rainforest and lots of large trees, so most of the time you will walk on a shady path.
Travel from Lombok to the Gili Islands on a snorkeling day trip. Visit Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. Spend time snorkeling and swimming in the coral reef. Then explore the islands on your own, and choose to rent a bike or take a horse-drawn carriage tour.

Travel plans
Arrival Day:
We will pick you up from Lombok International Airport in Praya or from whatever port you arrive or wherever you stay in Lombok. we will then take you straight to beautiful Tetebatu where you can check into your hotel, meet your guide and settle in. Your guide will brief you on the travel program. After that you can relax and enjoy your free time in Tetebatu before going to bed.
Day 1 Exploration:
After breakfast at the hotel we will start climbing to the Tetebatu Crater Rim, starting from Tetebatu Village which is at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level. The trip starts from Monkey Forest (a forest tourist attraction in Tetebatu which is inhabited by monkeys), here we can see black monkeys and gray monkeys in very large numbers and from this place we can clearly see Mount Rinjani and the Tetebatu Crater Rim which is our destination.
After a 30 minute walk from the Monkey Forest we will enter a dense forest and the path we are on is still new/natural and feels cold because many of the trees the sunlight is covered by thick leaves and cannot be felt, after 1 hour 30 minutes we arrive at the first resting place called the Dutch Pondok or Dutch Gubuk (Perhaps in the past this place was used by the Dutch to rest before continuing the climb to Sangkareang Peak and Segara Anak Lake).
After lunch and adequate rest we will continue our journey to the camping area and the journey is quite steep. So we will arrive at the Camping area for the Second Peak of Mount Rinjani after 2 hours of normal time and at this place we will set up a tent to rest, have dinner and spend the night with beautiful views of the peaks of Mount Rinjani and Sangkareang, as well as Mount Agung in Bali with the beautiful Sunsite towering through the clouds.
Day 2 Exploration:
After drinking coffee or tea early and snacks at 04.00 am we will start the journey to Sangkareang Peak which is at an altitude of 3,200m above sea level. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Arriving at the top, we will enjoy the sunrise, enjoy the stunning views while drinking hot tea or coffee and biscuits, and take some photos. We will then return to camp, rest and have breakfast. Next we will start climbing for about 1.5 hours back down to Post 3, where we will rest. The journey then descends for about 5 hours, a beautiful secluded track through the forest back to Tetebatu Village. After lunch at Post 1 we will descend slowly for approximately one hour through Tetebatu Village where the Sangkareang Trekking trekking program will end. We will then take you back to wherever you want to go in Lombok.
